[ CROWLEY, Aleister related ] CORNELIUS, J. Edward and Marlene.

Berkeley, CA: Privately Printed (J. Edward and Marlene Cornelius), 1997. First Edition Softcover. Quarto. viii (+ii) + 216pp. First Edition, limited to 156 copies. Original printed wrappers. Although now a little dated, this remains an important issue of this journal of Thelemic research, and an landmark in Crowley scholarship. "This Desk Reference contains the most comprehensive, alphabetical breakdown of Aleister Crowley's writings ever published. If you're looking for where a particular item written by Crowley is located, this will tell you where you can find it as well as when and how often it might have been published. It has over 220 pages of listings which include not only his published works but also numerous unpublished pieces. It lists his essays, novels, magazine articles, pamphlets, magical writings and all his poems individually, as well as breaking down every volume which he has ever written as to what is published therein. It also cross references Crowley's Libers." This copy inscribed from J. Edward Cornelius to the English bibliophile and Aleister Crowley scholar Nicholas Bishop-Culpeper. Also Bishop-Culpeper's book-label loosely inserted. Spine a little leaned and lightly faded, with a few bumps and a tiny split at the bottom. Some light flecking to the edges. Still a VG + copy of a book that was generally heavily used, and is not often seen in such nice condition. (Item ID: 42577)
