The second edition, revised, of this handsomely produced reworking of a paper that was originally delivered by Raine to the Yeats International Summer School at Sligo on 15 August 1968. Many quality black and white illustrations of tarot cards, Yeats's magical weapons, manuscripts etc. Wrappers a little darkened, creased and rubbed, owner's name in ink on front cover, some highlights and pencil underlines to text.
