Crowley came to the conclusion that Jones was his "magical son", born of his sex magical workings with Jeanne Foster in 1915, and later recognised him as the child prophesied in "Liber AL vel Legis," who would unlock "mysteries that no Beast shall divine." Liber XXXI, said to be the "key to Liber AL" comprises extracts from Achad's diaries for September and October 1918 in which he sets forth his discoveries about the book. These are followed by a short essay by Achad, "Thinking Backwards" with a one sentence afterword written by Achad in 1948. A trifle leaned, a hint of rubbing to the points of the boards, otherwise near-Fine condition. (no jacket as issued). Item #63089
