The 1971 revised edition of Symond's biography of Crowley. Published twenty years after the first edition, this reissue reflected the changed times, and as the blurb on the dust jacket noting: "The author is now able to go into far greater detail about Crowley's use of sex and drugs than was possible before." It also included a lot of material that was originally published separately in the author's 'The Magic of Aleister Crowley.' Cloth slightly faded, corners and edges lightly rubbed, page edges darkened and thumbed, endpapers darkened and unevenly browned, preliminaries lightly toned. Still a tight, unmarked VG copy in Good dust jacket. (As usual the fragile gold foil dust jacket is rubbed and creased overall, and has some light chipping and creasing at edges, not price clipped.
