Bold contemporary owner's inscription on front free endpaper "Mrs. Symonds / Delphic Lodge / 6 Marine Parade / Clacton-on-Sea [Essex, U.K.]" (The Delphic Lodge of Clacton-on-Sea was a Spiritualist centre founded by Mr & Mrs. Symonds in August 1920 Cloth a little rubbed and slightly darkened overall, spine darkened and lightly bumped & chafed at ends, page edges darkened, endpapers unevenly browned, NYC Weiser bookshop sticker on front pastedown, front hinge a little wobbly but holding well, owner's inscription (as noted above) in ink on front blank with some ghosting to the half-title page. Pages lightly toned with occasional foxing - but an otherwise unmarked with an interesting provenance. About VG (no dust jacket). Item #64703
