Gaius Glenn Atkins (1868 – 1956) was an American Congregational preacher, author, and professor at Auburn Theological Seminary. Atkins wrote a number of books on various religious subjects - this one a focus on modern religious movements, many of which he considered cults: including Christian Science, New Thought, the Unity Church and Spiritualism. Light rubbing to cloth with a few faint marks, spine ends bruised, upper corners bumped, page edges darkened, bookplate on front pastedown, pencil lines outside text on less than a dozen pages - else a clean tight VG copy (no dust jacket).
