Hereward Carrington (1880-1958), was one of the best-known of the British psychical researchers, and wrote many significant works on the subjects of psychical research and spiritualism. In this volume Carrington outlines the current current state of research into Spiritualism in the early years of the twentieth century. Spine ends, corners, and edges a bit rubbed and bumped, corners lightly frayed, page edges darkened and lightly foxed, bookseller's label, pages browned with a bit of foxing to first and last dozen or so leaves, but clean and unmarked.
