An account of thirty year's experience as a trance-medium, by Mrs. Cecil M. Cook, who served as Pastor and Medium at the William T. Stead Memorial Center in Chicago during the first decades of the twentieth century. In the course of her career Mrs. Cook claimed to have taken part in some 30,000 'seances and private sittings.' Spine and edges of boards slightly darkened. Spine ends and corners lightly rubbed and bumped, NYC Weiser bookshop labels on front pastedown, pages a bit toned but unmarked.
