Henry Wilson, who founded an American branch of the healing group the Society of the Nazarene in 1920. The Society of the Nazarene was begun by a mixed group of clergy and laity in England in 1914 and was sponsored by William Temple who later became Archbishop of Canterbury Cuthbert Bardsley, Bishop of Coventry, and others. It was officially endorsed as the healing organisation of the Anglican Communion by the Lambeth Conference of Anglican Bishops in 1926.
