Prentice Mulford (1834–1891) was a noted literary humorist and California author, who helped found the New Thought movement. Mulford wrote essays and poetry as well as a number of books on mental/spiritual laws including his "The White Cross Library". Very light rubbing to edges, endpapers toned, previous owner's inked initials on free end paper, otherwise a remarkably bright and clean copy. Near fine condition in VG dust jacket. (Red printed paper dust jacket is lightly edgeworn with a few tiny chips and tears, now in plastic protector). An attractive copy of this scarce volume. Item #2362
