The inaugural volume of this series examines the influences of the environment on Iranian civilization. "Volume 1 sets the physcial stage for the human events which follow. ...... The whole volume is devoted to geography, geology, anthropology, economic life, and flora and fauna." A nice, clean ex-library copy, with the usual stamps etc. Still, aside from those, the boards are sound and bright with just a little wear and chafing, binding is sound and the text is unmarked.
