Contemporary gilt embellished half calf, marbled boards, frontis of Cooke. The scarce first edition of a significant theatrical memoir. Boards a bit chafed and rubbed at edges, corners rounded and rubbed, spine labels lightly chipped, foxing throughout both volumes - though text is quite legible. Overall a tight and unmarked about VG set. Scarce. Item #31781
