An exhaustive, region by region study of the production and distribution of Persian carpets, with extensive material on the crafts of weaving and dying, the history of Persian carpets, etc. etc. A bare hint of rubbing to lower edge of boards, otherwise a sound and bright near fine copy in VG dust jacket. (Dust jacket lightly discolored at edges, spine darkened, light "cup ring" to front panel, edges lightly rubbed with some light chipping. Now protected by a removable mylar sleeve).
