Undated - but clearly either first or edition or early reprint - of this essay by Max Heindel (1865 - 1919) Danish born astrologer, mystic, and occultist. In 1903 Heindel moved to Los Angeles, California, where he joined the Theosophical Society of Los Angeles, of which he became vice-president in 1904 and 1905. He engrossed himself in the study of astrology, as a tool to unlock the secret of man's being. While lecturing in Berlin he claimed to have been visited by an entity who later identified himself as an Elder Brother of the Rosicrucian Order, and later received personal instructions from the Elder Brothers of the Rose Cross, going on to found The Rosicrucian Fellowship in 1909. Wrappers slightly darkened at margins, light rubbing to edges, small erasure to top corner of upper wrapper. Overall, a sound and unmarked VG+ copy. Item #34294
