London: Crucible, 1987. First Edition. Softcover. Octavo. 128 pp. illustrations. Frontis. Notes and index. The First Edition of this delightful collection of bibliographically orientated essays. The book is worth having for the essay on Crowley alone, but each of the others is similarly entertaining and instructive, and the author's little autobiographical Epilogue an absolute treasure. This copy inscribed by the author to English bibliophile and Aleister Crowley scholar Nicholas Bishop-Culpeper, with Nick's book-label lightly tipped in at the front and his ownership signature in pencil on the same page. Covers lightly rubbed, page edges darkened and discoloured, first and last leaves browned, otherwise an unmarked about VG copy. Item #39788
