An important reassesement of "mundane or judicial astrology, that is astrology as applied to national or world events, politics, social upheavals, etc. etc. Evidently a previous owner was interested in the use of astrology in relation to international affairs - loosely inserted is a typed letter, referring to - amongst other things - events in Tehran politics (by the look of the undated letter it is probably contemporary with the "hostage crisis" of 1979-1981). There is also, loosely inserted, a two-page charge of the "Chinese Communist Army." Some minor scattered spots to boards, spine slightly rubbed at head & tail, endpapers slightly discolored, old bookseller stamp on front free endpaper, top-edge foxed, otherwise a solid, internally-clean near-VG copy in chipped & wrinkled glassine dust jacket.
