A novel by Symonds, who was of course the author of the most famous biography of Aleister Crowley, "The Great Beast." It includes a passing reference to Crowley and his erotic writings. From the library of English bibliophile and Aleister Crowley scholar Nicholas Bishop-Culpeper, with his bookplate on the front pastedown & ownership name on front free endpaper. Spine rubbed & faded (with dulling to spine lettering), rear board discolored (previously damp-affected), several small spots on rear endpapers, otherwise an internally-clean Good+ copy (no jacket).
