A partly autobiographical reflection on Spiritualism by Simone St. Clair (1896-1975) in Paris, a French writer and member of the French Resistance, who embraced Spiritualism and psychic studies after the war. Spine leaned, heavy bump and a couple of tears to the cloth at head of spine, cloth a bit darkened and rubbed, chafing and bruising to spine ends and upper corners.
