Whateley Smith] (1892-1947), was a British parapsychologist, psychical investigator, and author who for many years was a Member of the Council of the Society for Pyschical Research and was founder and editor of "The Psychic Research Quarterly." In this volume Carington propounds his "Association Theory of Telepathy." From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his ex-libris seal blind-stamped on the front free endpaper. Bumps to corners and edges of boards, spine ends rubbed, page-edges lightly browned, old bookseller sticker on front free endpaper, otherwise a solid VG copy in Good dust jacket (dust jacket a bit browned & discolored overall and faded at spine and folds, rubbed at edges, chipping at top of spine, not clipped).
