Presentation inscription by the author on the title-page: "Dr. Tetley from the author" (This is presumably the "Dr. Tetley" mentioned as a family friend in biographical writings by and about Dr Symonds' eponymous son). Two lectures on sleep and dreams, by John Addington Symonds (1807 – 1871) English physician, author, and father of the eponymous decadent poet and literary critic. Neatly rebacked in cloth.
