Contents include the Society Rules, list of members and a list of books housed in their library, the President's address and seven essays, three of which relate to what might loosely be called the paranormal: "The Minds Eye" by E. T. Wilson; "Dreams and Spectral Illusions" by F. Day and "Apparitions, Are They Illusions?" by Dr. Cook. The other essays are "On Wasps" by E. Cornford; "On the Progress of Anthropological Science in Britain" by Dr. Cullen; "Cholrea, from a Historical, Scientific and Preventive Point of View" by Dr. Ferguson; and "The Mammoth Cave" (Kentucky, USA) by E. Wethered. This would appear to be the Cheltenham Natural Science Society's own copy, as it has there stamp at the head of the title page and in the margin of another page. Boards lightly darkened & discolored, wear to spine ends, page-edges foxed & discolored, discolouration to endpapers & fore-edge, occasional foxing to some pages, else a solid unmarked Good + copy.
