The first edition of this collection of supposedly true Scottish ghost tales gathered together by Elliott O'Donnell (1872 - 1965) an Irish author who became famous for his books on ghosts and the supernatural. Cloth shows light wear, spine a bit sunned, corners bruised, top-edge lightly browned. Modest foxing to page-edges and first & last leaves. Small contemporary (1913) gift note on front free endpaper, slight ripple to front pastedown, otherwise a solid clean VG copy (no dust jacket). Item #48953
