Charles Henry Vail (1866–1924) was an American Universalist clergyman who is most widely remembered as the first National Organizer of the Socialist Party of America. Vail was also an avid Freemason and in this volume collects a series of "Sunday Evening Lectures" he delivered at Pullman Memorial Church, where he was the pastor. Cloth lightly rubbed overall and a bit chafed at extremities, light bruising and fraying at spine ends, page-edges browned, endpapers unevenly browned, enthusiastic but unobtrusive underlining to text and penciled notes on endpapers & on some pages throughout. Still overall a solid about VG copy (no dust jacket - presume none issued). Scarce. Item #49983
