Five full page color plates (especially prepared so as to appear aged) , color vignette on title page & 140 halftone illustrations. Edition limited to 1040 copies. A handsomely produced translation of Besson's "Les frères de la côte. Flibustiers et corsaires," which drew largely on original early accounts of piractical ruffians and their activities for its text and illustrations. Page-edges browned, spine ends rubbed, fading along bottom-edges of boards, otherwise a solid, internally-clean VG copy in Good+ dust jacket (dust jacket torn & discolored, 1" piece lost from top of spine, chipping - jacket now protected in mylar sleeve).
