A signed, limited-edition print of an original tarot design "Temperance" by Leigh McCloskey.
ca. 2000. The print is of an intricately detailed black and white pen and ink drawing. It is one of the designs for McCloskey's original interpretation of the Major Arcana of the Tarot that was eventually published - after a seventeen-year journey of creation - as "Tarot Re-visioned" in 2003. The print itself is 8 inches across by 11 inches high and has been professionally matted and framed behind glass in a 12.75 inch x 16.75 inch black metal frame. It has the title "Temperance" and artist's signature in pencil in the lower margin. The prints in this series were limited to 150 copies, but this example does not have the usual pencilled limitation number so it is presumably ex-series. McCloskey is a well known Californian artist, actor and author with a long interest in tarot and various esoteric pathways (a wikipedia page lists his many credits as an actor, etc.) This item cannot be shipped media mail - shipping will be charged at cost.
