This edition includes a new Foreword by Leslie Shepard (1917-2004), a writer, editor and film-maker, who was commissioned by University Books to edit and write new Introductions and Forewords for a number of books on magic, mysticism and mythology in the 1960s and 1970s. Covers very slightly darkened at edges and spine, small period bookseller's label on front free endpaper, otherwise a tight, clean VG+ copy in VG dustjacket (a hint of rubbing and discoloration, a few tiny tears around the edges.
