Loosely-inserted is a small printed plate which is signed by the author in the bottom margin. A collection of messages "from the other side" by Anna Farwell de Koven (1862 – 1953) an American novelist and socialite. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his ex-libris seal blind-stamped on the front free endpaper. Prior to that in the library of the "College of Pyschic Studies" with their small stamp and shelf numbers on title page, label ghost at bottom of spine, and shadow of label removed from the front pastedown. Spine ends rubbed, fading to cloth, page-edges browned, else a solid near-VG copy (no dust jacket). Item #54083
