Adoum's study outlines the link between sex and religion throughout history of humanity as observed by various religious traditions. The book drew the attention of Marcelo Ramos Motta, who recommended it to his A.'. A.'. students in the reading list included in his "Calling the Children of the Sun." The book includes a special Addenda by Ray Eales, Frater 939 .'. and Monica D. Rocha which seeks to make the work more accessible to Thelemites.
