Octavo. 88pp. Blue stapled wrappers printed in silver, original cloth tape spine, b&w illustrations, multi-coloured endpages. An unusual edition of this collection of essays, Kabbalistic, Magical and Philosophical written by Crowley at his mature best. It was apparently issued as a limited edition - this copy is hand-numbered "#8" and although no limitation is stated, it is certainly very uncommon. It was published as part of the massive effort by Ebony Anpu and friends to make basic Crowley texts available in the 1980s. It includes a short (2 page) introductory essay on the O.T.O. "To all it may concern" by Frater 137 (Ebony Anpu). The booklets were advertised at the time as having "beautiful hand colored endpapers," but irrespective of one's thoughts on these the other production values are rather basic. Covers very slightly rubbed - otherwise a clean near Fine copy. Item #57225
