Edition limited to 2,500 copies, 200 of which were numbered copies printed on Abbey Mills Antique laid paper (this copy part of the regular edition - on ordinary paper). The anonymous author of the catalogue and organiser of the exhibition was Timothy d'Arch Smith who worked in the rare books department of The Times Bookshop at the time. The catalog includes notable occult books in the areas of Alchemy, Astrology, Witchcraft, "Crowleyanity," Spiritualism and Black magic, amongst others. A detailed and highly amusing account of the catalogue and accompanying exhibition can be found in Chapter 5 of d'Arch Smith's delightful "The Times Deceas'd."
