The first UK edition of this popular novel which was later made into an even more popular US movie. Although not marked as such, this volume is from the collection of occult scholar and author, Stephen Skinner. Upper corners and spine ends bruised, page edges darkened and bit foxed, paper toned, owner's initials and date on first white blank. Overall a tight, clean VG copy in near VG dust jacket (Dust jacket is chafed and creased at all extremities, inner flaps browned, not clipped). Item #57552
