Lewis De Claremont was the pseudonym of an unidentified American author who wrote this and a number of other popular occult titles in the 1930s and 1940s including "The Ancient's Book of Magic", "The Ancient Book of Formulas", and "Legends of Incense, Herb, and Oil Magic". Rather cheap production values. Wrappers somewhat chafed and chipped at edges, pages browned, stapled a bit rusty, a few creased corners, otherwise a tight, clean, VG copy. Quite scarce. Item #57881
