A reprint edition of the comedy "Golden Asse" by Roman author Lucius Apuleius (circa 123 - 180 CE) which made it onto the list of recommended reading which Aleister Crowley gave to his students in the A.'. A.'. Light chafing to extremities, a little light flecking to upper cover, text block separated a bit at pp 192-193 (but quite solid), pages toned. Still overall a tight, clean better than VG copy (no dust jacket). Item #58481
