This copy inscribed by Regardie on the half-title page "Winter Solstice, For Mildred. Always, Francis." ("Francis" being Regardie's original first name, and the name by which friends knew him.) Regardie's study of the Golden Dawn, and his personal recollections of one of its later incarnations, the Stella Matutina. Half-a-dozen minor ink corrections to the text (possibly by Regardie himself, although there is not enough writing to say with any certainty.) White covers a bit rubbed and darkened (as common), page edges darkened, pages toned, otherwise a clean VG+ copy of a fragile edition that is seldom encountered inscribed. Item #58678
