One of Regardie's best known works, written by him when still in London in 1936. Although the subtitle indicates that it is primarily "A Co-relation of the Principles of Analytical Psychology and the Elementary Technique of Magic," the actual title - "The Middle Pillar" is not misplaced, as the book leans heavily on Kabbalistic theory. Corners bumped, corners and spine ends lightly chafed, bubbling to cloth at fore-edge of upper board, neatly repaired v-shaped tear to cloth on rear board, bookshop sticker front pastedown, pages toned. Overall a tight, clean about VG copy in VG example of the original clothbound slipcase with gilt title label. (Slipcase cloth a little darkened, one corner bumped). Item #58682
