Hodge, the ex-wife of Stephen Skinner, was herself an author, and an unassuming but important figure in British neo-pagan witchcraft and the London occult scene from the 1970s onwards. Although not marked as such, this volume was later from the collection of occult scholar and author, Stephen Skinner.
