London: The Neptune Press, 1955. First Edition thus. Hardcover. xxviii + 156pp. Demy Octavo. White parchment spine with gilt-decorated buckram boards. Top edge gilt. Tables & hexagrams. Edition limited to 1100 copies (There was also a vellum-bound edition of 12 copies and a full morocco edition of 7 copies). A revised edition of Crowley's Qabalistic masterwork, originally published in 1909, with much additional material. Crowley's former student and follower Gerald Yorke had worked on the revised edition of the book in the 1920s, but was unable to take it to press at the time. He finally published it in collaboration with Crowley's German-American student and occult heir Karl Germer in 1955. White parchment spine somewhat discoloured, a few light bumps to edges, a little discolouration to rear board. Pages toned, small mark discoloured spot to upper edge of text block (not affecting margins). A handful of ink and pencil annotations in the margins. Faint incense smell. Overall a sound, solid, about VG copy. No dust jacket (none issued, although copies came from the printer in a disposeable glassine wrapper which was sometimes retained). Item #58914
