A one volume facsimile reproduction of the original 1877 edition of this important work by Blavatsky. Her first major publication, it not only became one of the foundation stones of Theosophy, but was highly influential on the Western esoteric and magical traditions in general, with Aleister Crowley even going so far as to identify her as a fellow Master of the Temple in one essay. Cloth a bit darkened and rubbed overall, bruising and chafing to extremities, page edges darkened & lightly thumbed, paper a bit toned, owner's ink stamped name and date (1938) on front pastedown, very slightly shaken but still for such a large heavy volume -tight, clean VG copy (no dust jacket).
