Item #59553 Silvermoon Magazine. 4 issues. Vol. 1, No. 1, June 1990, - Vol. 1, No. 4, March 1991. "Damon"

Silvermoon Magazine. 4 issues. Vol. 1, No. 1, June 1990, - Vol. 1, No. 4, March 1991.

London: Silvermoon Magazine, 1990 - 1991. Softcover. Four consecutive issues. Vol. 1, No. 1, June 1990, - Vol. 1, No. 4, March 1991. Printed paper wrappers. Loose quarto sheets, stapled together at the left-hand margins. 24pp. per issue (wraps included in pagination). An uncommon - and uncommonly good - British neo-pagan journal for which Gareth J. Medway was apparently largely responsible (Medway is a well known writer and speaker in British occult circles best known as the author of "Lure of the Sinister"). It includes an interview with and lengthy letter from author and psychic quester Andrew Collins, various essays including a lengthy four part article (one part per issue) on Gerald Gardner, modern witchcraft, etc. entitled "Aradia's Children," and a received text - "Liber Tanith" - as well as book reviews, etc. Also a number of significant references to the "Satanic Panic" (the bogus occult child-abuse scandal) that took place during the time). From the library of English bibliophile and Aleister Crowley scholar Nicholas Bishop-Culpeper. Fanzine type production values. Stapled spines have been reinforced with clear tape - probably added by a previous owner to stop the staples gouging other publications. Cheap production values. A little light wear and creasing, but over all VG+ condition. Item #59553
