A nicely produced annotated catalogue, listing one hundred eye watering alchemical texts, that were displayed as part of the [London] Science Museum's first Exhibition of Books. With an Introduction by F. Sherwood Taylor, Director of the Museum, and author of numerous books and essays on the history of alchemy. Vertical crease down the middle, covers darkened, and with a few short ink strokes on the rear wrapper. Pages evenly tanned but otherwise unmarked, overall a VG copy. Item #59605
