Barbanell was one of the founders, and the editor of "Psychic News", along with Hannen Swaffer, a Fleet Street journalist, and the notable British spiritualist, Arthur Findlay - a weekly British newspaper that survived until 2010. In this volume Barbanell purports to offer proof of the return after death of the spirits of Sir Henry Segrave, Edgar Wallace, Arthur Conan Doyle and Sir Thomas Lipton. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his ex-libris seal blind-stamped on the front free endpaper. Boards very slightly bowed, owner's name in pen on pastedown, page edges and endpapers foxed. Still overall a tight, unmarked VG+ copy in VG dust jacket (Dust jacket a bit darkened and rubbed, price clipped, names on reverse of front flap). Item #59629
