Cyril Meir Scott (1879 – 1970) was an English composer, writer, and poet who perhaps was best known for his three volume "Initiate" series which tells the story of “Justin Moreward Haig” an initiate or adept of high attainment along Theosophical lines. In this work he explores "modern" paths of occultism, including those of Steiner and Theosophy, as well as the beliefs that underpin them. Cloth a little rubbed and discoloured, spine ends and corners bruised and chafed, page edges darkened, endpapers unevenly browned, bookshop sticker, pages toned. Otherwise a tight, clean about VG copy in Fair dust jacket (Dust jacket darkened and discoloured, all edges and extremities, chafed, chipped and creased, clipped). Item #59723
