Remembering Aleister Crowley.

In black cloth slipcase, blind stamped with 'The Mark of the Beast.' Special deluxe reissue, released to commemorate the centenary of the reception of "The Book of the Law". The issue comprised 93 numbered copies of the First Edition, each with a special commemorative bookplate signed by Kenneth Grant, and housed in a new, specially-made cloth slipcase. Also included (loosely inserted) are "a facsimile of a Chinese visiting card occasionally employed by Crowley .... a [reprint of a] rare photographic portrait of Crowley from the 1940s ... from the collection of Kenneth Grant," and a postcard-sized explanatory sheet. The book itself is Grant's memoir of his relationship with Crowley, illustrated with original letters, photographs etc. A hint of dust to the slipcase (almost inevitable with fine black cloth), all else Fine condition.
