Quarter blue cloth w/ light blue cloth boards, gilt title, etc. to spine, illustrations. The author, was a friend, but never a follower, of Crowley's, and this memoir is a more personal reflection on the man than is usually found. As Cammell wrote: "I saw A.C. frequently. I came to know him well: better mentally, I believe, than many who knew him longer and, in a sense, more intimately." Includes a Foreword by John C. Wilson not present in other editions. Boards a bit darkened, rubbed at edges, spine ends bruised and chafed, page edges darkened, bookshop ink stamp to pastedown, otherwise a tight, clean VG copy in Good dust jacket (dust jacket a bit rubbed, tattered and chipped overall, not clipped).
