This edition with an insightful Prolegmenon by Martin P. Starr. Crowley's most infamous pornographic work. It was apparently written by Crowley with the intention of penning the most ridiculously extreme sexual fantasy ever produced - for the edification of his wife Rose. Most copies of the first edition (circa 1904) were destroyed by British Customs. Top edge a little darkened and dusty otherwise a tight, bright, near-Fine copy in VG+ dust jacket (Dust jacket lightly rubbed overall, light scratch to upper panel). Item #60318
