Item #60498 [ The Book of the Law ] Liber AL vel Legis. Aleister CROWLEY.

[ The Book of the Law ] Liber AL vel Legis.

NP, ND [circa 1990?]. Softcover. 8vo. (8.5 x 5.75 inches) [ii] 14pp. Pale blue stapled wrappers, printed in black with "LIBER / AL / VEL / LEGIS / [device of Horus eye in Pyramid from which flow forth rays] / A / Crowley" within the typical Egyptian-style border on front wrapper and an O.T.O. lamen with the words "Deus est Homo" on the back wrapper. An utterly anonymous and staggeringly poorly produced version of "The Book of the Law." P. (I) has a poorly reproduced self-portrait of Crowley as To Mega Therion, p. (II) is blank, p. 1 has a poorly reproduced photo of Crowley with Stele and magical implements, p. 2 has the Tunis Comment above a poorly reproduced photo of crowley in hood staring at the camera, pp 3 - 12 have a retyped version of the text of Liber CCXX, apparently following that of the (corrected) 1942 US Edition. P. (13) is blank, and p. 14 has a poorly reproduced photo of Rose Kelly. Offsetting from "plates" throughout - as must surely be the case with all copies. Edges lightly rubbed and a little darkened, spine faded, otherwise a clean VG copy. Item #60498
