Leah Sublime.

NP [ London ]: Heka Baka, ND [ 1990s ]. First Edition Thus. Softcover. Octavo. ii + 10pp. Red wrappers printed in black. A reprint of Crowley's spectacularly filthy poem dedicated to Leah Hirsig. Crowley wrote of Leah Sublime in his diary for June 28, 1920: "Against all principles, and in breach of two promises, I have sat up all night in the snows, writing a poem to Leah. One long poem - an occasional publishable line thrown in when I weakened. 7.00 am: I think I'll collect all my filth in one poem and mark it Leah in plain figures. 10.00 am: I think I did." This edition undated but it is believed to have been published ca.1990. Covers slightly darkened, rubbed & creased, price sticker shadow on rear cover - But overall a tight, clean VG+ copy of an unusual edition. Item #60507
