An argument against the conclusions of Sir Oliver Lodge regarding the supposed after death communications of Lodge's youngest son, the Raymond of the title. Raymond was a Second Lieutenant in the British army who was killed during a German bombardment near Ypres in 1915. Lodge and his wife attended a number of séances with the medium Gladys Osborne Leonard, and became convinced that they were in contact with their son through her. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman. Wrappers darkened at spine and outer margins, rubbed and creased at edges and extremities, a few small chips at spine ends and on rear cover, foxing to page edges and to pages, text unmarked and legible.
