Charles Drayton Thomas (1867 - 1953) was a British Methodist minister and spiritualist who wrote and edited a number of books on the subject of spiritualism and precognition. In this volume Thomas outlines the more easily explained types of forecast or precognition before moving on to the remaining mystery of prediction which suggests a realm of intelligence far above that of the communicators (!). From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his ex-libris seal blind-stamped on the front free endpaper. A little light bruising to corners and spine ends, light rubbing to edges, endpapers unevenly browned, otherwise a tight, unmarked VG+ copy in near VG dust jacket (Dust jacket a bit rubbed and darkened, edges chafed with some light chipping and tears to spine ends and points, spine sunned, price-clipped).
