In 1915 - 1916, whilst in America, Aleister Crowley wrote a work called 'The General Principles of Astrology Liber DXXXVI', apparently at the behest of the enormously popular 'society' astrologer Evangeline Adams. Adams heavily edited the work and published it under her own name in two separate volumes: "Astrology: Your Place In The Sun" (First published in the US in 1927) and "Astrology: Your Place Among The Stars" (First published 1930). This is the first UK edition of "Astrology: Your Place In The Sun." Spine a bit darkened, spine ends and corners bruised and lightly rubbed, page edges darkened and lightly foxed, uneven browning to endpapers with several penciled notes to front pastedown, rear endpapers split at inner hinge but hinge quite solid, a few pencil underlines to text - otherwise a tight clean VG copy in scarce near VG dust jacket (Dust jacket a bit darkened and discoloured overall, all edges and folds a bit chafed and lightly chipped, not clipped).
